LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) — Veterans Day and the 50th running of the Las Vegas Marathon will highlight Las Vegas Valley activities today and Sunday.
Here’s a brief, although not total, list of events that might interest you this weekend:
Tough Mudder: Known as one of the most extreme endurance events in the world, the World’s Toughest Mudder event is Tough Mudder’s only competitive event. Competitors are eligible to win a total of more than $170,000 in prizing, including a grand prize of $100,000 for the winning team that completes at least 100 miles together. Roughly 1,300 competitors will take on a grueling five-mile loop course, traversing diverse desert terrain, steep hills, mud pits, Lake Las Vegas and 20 obstacles which can only be found at World’s Toughest Mudder to deem the toughest man, woman and team on the planet. The competition kicks off on Saturday at noon and concludes Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Lake Las Vegas.
