A Gallic influence is taking hold at MonteLago Village, with two new dining destinations hoping to survive the often difficult business conditions at Lake Las Vegas.
Mimi’ & Coco’ Bistro debuted its French restaurant earlier this year and now Le Cafe Du Lac has opened right by the water, taking over the shuttered, 749-square-foot former home of Lobsterman’s Restaurant.
Featuring an outdoor patio and a chef with a resume that includes time at Guy Savoy at Caesar’s Palace, the casual concept is also encouraging customers to sign up for crepe-making classes, or let their imagination fly and create their own pastry-making instruction program.
