Following the destruction of Hurricane Harvey, the students of Coronado Highschool are holding a drive to collect much needed items for their new sister school, Northside High School in Houston. They will be in the Village at Seasons Grocery this Sunday, September 3rd from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Boulder Boats is donating a semi-truck and driver to take the donated goods directly to the Highschool after next week. Some of the needed items include but are not limited to:
Non-perishable food items
Clothes (Gently used/New)
Household items (towels, blankets, etc)
Water bottles and gallons
Book (new or gently used)
School Supplies (of any kind)
Socks and Shoes
Any other type of donations will also be accepted and donated directly to those in need. The students will also be accepting donations throughout next week at the Coronado High School front office.
Have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend and don’t forget to check out the Margarita Festival, Arts and Crafts, and fireworks show in the Village also on Sunday! See www.lakelasvegas.com/events for more information.
