Make-A-Wish grants three local girls’ wishes to visit Hawaii

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada, along with Lake Las Vegas’ Summer of Wishes, made more wishes come true Sunday.

Three local kids learned that their wishes to visit Hawaii are being granted during a special wish reveal ceremony at Lake Las Vegas.
After the reveal, the girls and their families were escorted to THE YACHT on Lake Las Vegas for an hour-long, luau-themed cruise.

The three girls are Ariadna Perez, Christia Dozier and Kristen Dahl.

Perez, 15, has been diagnosed with a congenital heart disorder and has undergone multiple surgeries. Her trip to Hawaii will give her the chance to swim with dolphins, snorkel and spend time with family.

Dozier is a nine-year-old diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease and must undergo blood transfusions every four weeks. She hopes to watch her whole family hula dance in Hawaii.

Dahl, a 17-year-old with Cystic Fibrosis, holds tight to a picture of Maui taken by her now deceased grandmother. She hopes to whale watch and see manta rays as well as to try out surfing and zip-lining.
