Pulte Homes will host a grand opening event in mid-January to celebrate its new all single-story Varenna community in Lake Las Vegas. Pre-sales for Varenna are currently underway at Pulte’s Lake Las Vegas Bellano sales office until the models open for viewing in January.
Once open, two of the three floor plans, the Gardengate and Parklane, will be modeled, while the Gateway will be available to see through floorplans and online, as well as being modeled in other Pulte communities.
According to Bridjette Shelfo,division vice president, sales, Pulte Group, homebuyers can currently take advantage of pre-grand opening values.
“We are seeing a very high interest level in Varenna, which is in part because the community offers three of Pulte’s best-selling floor plans in the southwestern United States,” Shelfo said.“Varenna is also hitting the mark for many consumers looking for that 2,000 to over 2,400-square-foot single-level home in a luxury master-planned community like Lake Las Vegas. There’s a great choice of home sites as we are just opening the community.”
The three floor plans offer open living spaces and flexible room options with up to five bedrooms and up to three and a half baths. Prices start in the low $400s.
“Varenna appeals to a wide demographic because there is flexibility within each floorplan to customize the home,” she said.
According to Shelfo, Pulte does regular consumer testing and livability studies on its floorplans to find out what people want to see within their home.
“What seems to be resonating the most with our buyers is the ability to make their house a home for the way they want to live,” she said. “Pulte’s team works hard to provide its buyers the best options so a floor plan like the Parklane can live 10 different ways depending on what’s important to them.”
Varenna will feature 38 home sites built on one long street with a cul-de-sac at the end. The gated community will be near the amenities of Lake Las Vegas, including a 320-acre lake, two award-winning golf courses, a sports club and water sports activities. Residents can also enjoy fine dining and grocery shopping at Montelago Village.
According to Shelfo, interest rates are still historically low, so it’s making buying power stronger for Pulte customers.
“What we have had in the last five years under the four to five percent interest rate has really helped a lot of people get into the home of their dreams,” she said. “Pulte has confidence in the Las Vegas market which has allowed us to grow at a comfortable pace and still take care of our customers and build quality homes.”
The first homes at Varenna will be completed in late spring 2019.
